Farzana Ahsan, MD, FAAP, and her pediatric practice have joined Stony Brook Medicine's expanding network of community practices and physicians. Dr. Ahsan specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine and has provided comprehensive patient care for more than 30 years in Mastic and the surrounding communities.

"I am very happy to join Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group," said Dr. Ahsan. "This will allow the practice to grow and enable me to concentrate on taking care of my patients."
Dr. Ahsan completed her medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed her pediatric residency at Maimonides Medical Center. After her residency, Dr. Ahsan completed a fellowship in ambulatory pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center.
