Police: Man Stole Steak, Lobster Tails From Lake Ronkonkoma Supermarket

Police asking for the public's help to find the thief.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say stole merchandise from a Lake Ronkonkoma supermarket in August.

Police said the man entered Stop & Shop, located at 449 Portion Road, and placed multiple packages of steak and lobster tails in a backpack and left the store without paying on Aug. 27 at about 8 p.m.

The man is described as Hispanic, approximately 5-foot-8 with short black hair and facial hair.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
