Police Seek Help to Find Hit-and-Run Suspect

Police say a woman sideswiped a car in a ShopRite parking lot last month.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a woman who may have left the scene of an accident last month.

On May 31 at about 9:30 a.m., police believe the woman pictured above may have been driving a tan or beige-colored four-door sedan that sideswiped a white Toyota at the ShopRite located at 71 College Road in Selden. The suspect’s vehicle may have damage to the right front-end fender, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
