Police Seek Pickup Truck Driver in Setauket Hit-and-Run

The crash occurred at a gas station last week. Police released surveillance photos of the driver who fled and his truck Thursday.

SETAUKET, NY- Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man involved in a hit-and-run crash in Setauket last week.

According to police, a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette was parked at a gas pump at BP Gas, located at 728 Route 25A, when a white pickup truck struck the vehicle on Jan. 13 around 4:45 p.m. The driver of the truck fled the scene westbound on Route 25A.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
