Police Seek Public's Help To Find Hair Salon Robber

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say tried to rob a Suffolk County hair salon in February.

According to police, the man entered Caribbean Hair Salon, located at 35 Middle Country Road in Coram, on Feb. 3 at about 6:15 p.m., demanded cash in Spanish and indicated that he had a weapon. The cashier refused to comply and the man fled on foot.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
