Police Seeking Man Who Stole Presents From Car On Christmas Eve

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say stole gifts from a vehicle in Centereach on Christmas Eve.

According to police, the man pictured above broke the passenger side window of a car parked at a residence on Main Avenue and stole the Christmas presents inside, valued at approximately $500, in the early morning of Dec. 24. He then vandalized the vehicle by pouring bleach on it, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
