Police Seeking Walmart Vacuum Thief
He stole two vacuums with a combined value of about $780, police say. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say stole vacuums from the Setauket Walmart.
According to police, the man stole two Dyson vacuums from the store located at 3990 Nesconset Highway on Sept. 23 around 2 p.m. The vacuums have a combined value of approximately $780.
The man fled the parking lot in a maroon or red Nissan Pathfinder, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
