Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Summer Concert Series Announced

Dear Neighbors,

We are excited to announce the launch of our Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Summer Concert Series. It is our shared belief that community events bond families, friends, and neighbors. With this in mind we have collaborated to create a free Summer Concert Series for the community.

Please encourage your co-workers, family, friends, neighbors, and anybody else you think would enjoy an evening of family fun to join us. Bring a towel or a chair on Saturday(s) July 23rd, August 6th, and August 20th to JFK Middle School (200 Jayne Blvd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776). The concerts will begin at 7:00PM.

Performances:

• July 23rd: Blue Bayou a Tribute to Linda Ronstadt @ 7:00PM
• August 6th: Three Village Chamber Players @ 7:00PM
• August 20th: Stony Brook Jazz Trio @ 7:00PM

Kindly note that prior to the August 20th concert, Stony Brook University’s Staller Center will be hosting an “instrument petting zoo” at 6:00PM. This interactive, 45 minute program is intended for children ages 3-6 to introduce them to woodwind and string instruments. To register for the instrument petting zoo, please call 631-632-7232.

The concert series will be rain or shine however in the event of extreme weather please call 631-451-6963 for a recorded message of cancellation.
