See You in September at Smith Haven Mall

Even though summer is winding down, Smith Haven Mall is preserving the final weeks and continues to offer free, musical entertainment on Thursday evenings as part of the Summer Concert Series. Performances will take place through September 10 and kick off at 6 p.m. in the mall’s Lifestyle Village.

“We’ve experienced a record turnout this season and very excited to continue to offer dynamic free entertainment in September with the Summer Concert Series,” commented Ann M. Schultz, director of mall marketing and business development for Smith Haven Mall. “We are keeping the momentum going with terrific bands under beautiful night skies in the Lifestyle Village and look forward to welcoming familiar and new faces in the final weeks of the series.”

The Summer Concert Series at Smith Haven Mall is free entertainment, open to the public and takes place in the mall’s Lifestyle Village. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, as seating will be limited.

Event attendees can take advantage of an array of special food sampling by the mall’s restaurants and eateries, which vary each week. Participating restaurants and eateries include Bobby’s Burger Palace, Bonefish Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Bahama Breeze and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. In addition, select retailers will be on-hand with product demonstrations during events including L’Occitane and Bare Minerals.

The September line-up includes:

• September 3 – Beyond Fab: A four person band that offers an energized musical performance of The Beatles catalog and beyond.
• September 10 – Macca Nation: New York based performers; Macca Nation presents a tribute to the music of Paul McCartney & Wings.
