Spellman High Voltage Electronics Clean Tech Competition
Stony Brook University, July 14, 2017
The 2017 Spellman High Voltage Electronics Clean Tech Competition will be held at Stony Brook University, 100 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook at the Center for Leadership and Development & Service (LDS building) on Friday, July 14th. The theme of this year’s Competition is “Creating a Greener Future” and students will compete for over $20,000 in prize money. The final round of the Competition will take place between 9 a.m. and 12:30 pm. Students from 10 will have 15 minutes to explain the problem they identified, present their solution for mitigating the problem’s negative impacts. Winners will be named between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. This inspiring and important Competition is free and open to the public and students, parents, teachers, members of the business community and groups are all welcome to attend. The Competition is managed by the Center for Science Teaching and Learning a not-for-profit organization with a mission of encouraging science learning and literacy.
