Spring is Finally Here ... Time to Adopt a Dog From Last Chance Animal Rescue

On Saturday I was proud to lead an Animal Adoption event for Last Chance Animal Rescue. These are some of the dogs that I had the privilege of taking off our transport van from South Carolina. They are the lucky ones that we were able to save from high kill shelters, some with only hours to spare. Every Saturday Last Chance Animal Rescue transports about 25 dogs up to Long Island where they can find their forever homes. We rely on a network of foster families to take care of the dogs while they await adoption, these are special people that provide the opportunity for these dogs to become adopted. Then our volunteers run adoption events each Saturday at 5 Pet stores in Suffolk County. Last Chance is always looking for more foster families and volunteers to help these deserving animals find a home. Students that volunteer can earn community service hours. If you would like to find out more about Last Chance, fostering, volunteering or adoption, you can visit www.LCARescue.org. You can also follow Last Chance Animal Rescue on Facebook to learn about all of our upcoming adoption events.

I will be leading Animal Adoption events every Saturday in April at the PetValue store in South Setauket by Chilis from 10am to 2pm. If you are in the area, please stop by to see some of the dogs and cats we have available.

If you would like any more information or have any questions, you can always call me at 631-495-9435.
