Stolen Credit Card Used To Buy Gift Cards In Suffolk: Police

The card was reported stolen on Jan. 26, Suffolk police said.

STONY BROOK, NY — A woman used a stolen credit card at a Stony Brook store back in January, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Another woman reported her credit card was stolen on Jan. 26 while at a Stony Brook Road medical practice, police said, adding that the card was then used nearby a short time later to purchase gift cards from Duane Reade on Stony Brook Road in Stony Brook.
