Stony Brook School Choir to Sing at Inauguration
Group will travel to Washington, D.C., for a performance.
The 16 members of The Stony Brook School's Chamber Singers will travel to Washington, D.C., this weekend as one of the 41 schools from across the nation chosen to perform at President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony, according to a News 12 report.
The Chamber Singers will sing a South African song called Bonse Aba and will play traditional musical instruments from South Africa during their performance, which will take place at approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Several local students will perform with the choir: Megan Poulos of Stony Brook, Alexandra Cunningham of Setauket, Nicholas Pizzichillo of Stony Brook, and Matthew Hollis of Old Field.

President Obama will be inaugurated on Monday, with the celebration spread out over the course of four days.
