Stony Brook University Dance Team advances to the Finals
Dance and Cheerleading teams perform in the country's most prestigious dance and cheer competition
On January 17-18, the Stony Brook University dance and cheerleading teams, under the leadership of coaches Sarah Harrington (dance) and Amanda Thompson (cheer), participated in the 2015 college dance and cheerleading national championships at Walt Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports, in Orlando.
For the first time in the university’s history, the dance team reached the final round and placed fifth in the Pom/dance category.
