Students Become BNL Partners in Science

As a result of their research proposals, four R.C. Murphy Junior High School students were selected to take part in the Partners in Science.

From Three Village Schools: As a result of their research proposals, four R.C. Murphy Junior High School students in the Three Village Central School District were selected to take part in the

Partners in Science Program at Brookhaven National Lab and sponsored by the School Library System and the Library at Brookhaven Lab. The selected students included Brooke Diamond, Akshay Malhotra, Neil Mehta and Kaitlyn Tung.

The program’s purpose was to “encourage scholarship in science and mathematics though the use of reference and research materials not readily available in school or public library collections. It is anticipated that the Brookhaven National Laboratory environment will display career choices in research and development for students.”
