Students Create A Village For Veterans
Setauket Elementary students used their creativity to fashion an enormous Gingerbread Village this holiday season.

THREE VILLAGE, NY - From Three Village Central School District: Setauket Elementary School fifth-graders in Christine Beck’s class used their creativity to fashion an enormous Gingerbread Village this holiday season.
With the help of Math AIS teacher Lisa Wall, the students used traditional ingredients to bring the display to life. Such items as pretzels, frosting and various candy items helped the space take shape and bring unique items such as an igloo, a train, snowmen and even Christmas trees to life.
The completed project was donated to the Long Island Veterans Hospital in Stony Brook.
