Suffolk Boys Lacrosse Rankings

The New York State Sportwriters Association released its first boys lacrosse rankings of the season this week and Long Island programs sit in the top three spots.

Chaminade is No. 1, Smithtown West is No. 2, and Ward Melville is No. 3 after games through April 7. See the full state rankings here. 

Ward Melville has not given up more than six goals in a game so far this season. The Patriots have wins over Riverhead, Smithtown East and Sachem North.

The NYSSWA also released its first Long Island boys lacrosse rankings, compiled by Farmingdale Coach Bob Hartranft. Here is the Suffolk County Top 10:
