Tackling Teen Issues

P.J. Gelinas Junior High School students took part in the school's production of 'The Struggles,' the schools 15th annual adolescent issue

THREE VILLAGE, NY - From Three Village Central School District: In order to provide support and open the lines of communication among their peers and adults, P.J. Gelinas Junior High School Theatre Company in the Three Village Central School District recently presented its 15 th annual adolescent issue play “The Struggles.”

The play, which was written in 2014, was a very truthful show involving modern day issues that affect a large majority of teens today, including dyslexia, anxiety, ADD and stress. This production marked the Long Island premier of the show and included 20 original narrations authored by current Ward Melville High School senior Meghan Forte.
