Teen Pointed BB Gun at School Bus: Police
A 17-year-old male threatened to shoot another student while riding on the bus Wednesday, police say.

CENTEREACH, NY - A 17-year-old boy was arrested after he pointed a BB gun at a school bus in Centereach on Wednesday.
Following a dispute, the boy, who police did not identify, threatened to shoot another student while riding on the bus on Wednesday.
The teen exited the bus on Garden Street and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the bus, police said. Following an investigation, it was determined that the weapon was a BB gun without a red tip.

The teen was arrested by Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers on Friday and charged with three counts of second degree menacing. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and scheduled for arraignment at a later date.
