UPDATED: Teenage Selden Girl Found Unharmed

The 14-year-old, who has been missing since Monday afternoon, was found, police say.

UPDATED, TUESDAY: Jasmine Almonte, 14, has been found unharmed, Suffolk Police announced Monday night.

Original story: SELDEN, NY — A Selden teenager went missing, and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are asking the public to help find her.

Jasmine Almonte, 14, left her home on Mooney Pond Road after having an argument with her parents on Monday around 4:15 p.m., police said.

Almonte is Hispanic, 5 feet 1 inch, 160 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red sweatsuit. She may be in the company of her boyfriend, Dalwen Fernandez, 18, of Coram, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Almonte’s whereabouts to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or 911.
