Gelinas Junior High School art teacher Michael Sacco was recently selected to have one of his cutting-edge lessons and associated student-artwork featured in the December issue of SchoolArts. This is the eighth time a lesson by Mr. Sacco has been published in the national educationally-based magazine.
The article titled “Luminous Light Circles” features artwork from Gelinas students past and present. The lesson featured is based on Mr. Sacco’s eighth-grade lesson on using white pencils on black paper.
