
From the Three Village Central School District: Seventh- and eighth-grade students from R.C. Murphy and P.J. Gelinas junior high schools recently participated in the National Geography Bee as part of the buildings’ social studies program.
All students participated in an initial round of testing and winners from each social studies class moved on to a schoolwide competition. As a result of their success at the building competitions, eighth-grader Michael Monez from Murphy and seventh-grader Aidan Visconti from Gelinas were named the champions.
