Three Village Musicians to Perform with Legendary Rock Violinist Tuesday
Event is open to the public; proceeds benefit the district's orchestra program.
Three Village student-musicians will perform along side legendary rock violinist Mark Woods as part of his Electrify Your Strings Velocity Tour.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Ward Melville High School. This concert will be the culmination of two days of workshops with orchestra students from Ward Melville High School, as well as students from R.C. Murphy and P.J. Gelinas Junior High. More than 400 district students will take part in the event with Mark Wood, which will feature an explosive evening of Rock Classics that is sure to be fun and exciting for the whole family.
Tickets are $5 at the door and all proceeds will go directly to the district’s orchestra program.

As part of the concert there will be a raffle with an electric violin donated by Mark Wood.
