Three Village residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Local residents approved the Three Village Schools District’s $204.4 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,708-719.

The budget represents a 2.77 percent spending increase over the current year and it includes a 3.4 percent hike in the school tax levy, which is within the district’s state tax cap.

Incumbents Jeffrey Kerman, Irene Gische and Inger Germano all ran unopposed and were re-elected to the school board.
