Toys For Holiday Smiles
Three Village schools teamed up during the holiday season to coordinate a cross school drive to benefit those in need.
From Three Village Schools:For what has become an honored tradition, Arrowhead Elementary School, Minnesauke Elementary School and R.C. Murphy Junior High School teamed up during the holiday season to coordinate a cross school drive to benefit those in need.
During the multiweek event, students and staff at each of the buildings generously donated children’s toys. The hundreds of items were then used to “stuffa school bus” and delivered to the Gerald Ryan Outreach Center. While each building is important to support the cause, this annual event is largely organized by Lolita Portal-Pfeffer at Murphy each year.
