Two Charged With Selling E-Nicotine To Minors: Police
One man was arrested in Selden and another in Centereach for selling e-nicotine, police say. Do you worry about e-nicotine and your kids?
SELDEN, NY — Two people were charged with selling e-liquid nicotine, or Juul pods, to minors Friday, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, the two individuals were arrested on Friday between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and charged with selling e-liquid nicotine, or Juul pods, to minors at businesses located within the Sixth Precinct.
In response to community complaints, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Health Services' tobacco regulation enforcement unit, conducted an investigation into the sale of e-liquid nicotine to minors during which 23 businesses were checked for compliance with the law, police said.

The businesses determined not to be in compliance were issued a notice of violation by the Suffolk County Department of Health, police said.
Arrested and charged with second degree unlawfully dealing with a child after they sold e-liquid nicotine to a minor were Parmvir Singh, 21, of Centereach, employed by Barcode Smoke Shop on Mark Tree Road in Centereach, and Moiz Khan, 22, of Selden, employed by Circle Mart, located on Middle Country Rd. in Selden, police said.

A total of 21 establishments within the Sixth Precinct complied, and refused the sale of e-liquid nicotine to minors, police said.
Singh and Khan were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on May 24, police said.
