W.S. Mount Musical Is Hit With Audiences

Three Village Schools:Three Village Central School District’s W.S. Mount Elementary School fifth and sixth grade drama club members recently took to the stage to perform the beloved musical, “Aladdin Jr.” before two packed audiences.

Working under the direction of drama club adviser Gretchen Tranchino, the student-actors rehearsed for months to bring to life the story of how a “diamond in the rough” transforms from a street rat to learn his true worth lies within. During the performances, audiences were seemly transported to a “Whole New World” as the students acted flawlessly and performed such hit songs as “Friend Like Me,” “One Jump Ahead,” and “Prince Ali.”
