Ward Melville DECA Wins Big at First Showing
Out of the 41 Ward Melville team members, 38 students were awarded top prizes in their respective categories.

In their first year of competing, Ward Melville High School’s DECA members captured top honors at the regional DECA competition that recently took place at Suffolk County Community College – Ammerman Campus.
Out of the 41 Ward Melville team members, 38 students were awarded top prizes in their respective categories. As a result of their excellent performance, these students will now compete at the state level in Rochester this March.
During the regional competition, students showcased their understanding of various business subjects in written form. At the state level, the competition will include a series of interviews and role-play activities.
