Ward Melville High Boasts 23 Commended Students

Students honored for academic achievement.

Twenty-three of Ward Melville High School’s brightest students have been named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation have been recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.

Although they will not continue in the 2015 competition, these students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 PSAT.
