Ward Melville High School Earns State Distinction Award

Ward Melville High School has earned the School of Distinction Award from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. The Three Village Central School District earned this award by having 100% of Ward Melville’s varsity teams qualify and receive the scholar-athlete team award during their respective sports seasons last school year. For a team to earn scholar-athlete status, 75% of the team must have a GPA of 90% or greater. Only 67 schools in the entire state and 13 in Suffolk County earned this award last year.
