Ward Melville Seniors Win Suffolk Zone Awards

Ward Melville High School seniors Sabrina Ferretti and Nick Piccininni were presented with the 2014 Suffolk Zone Award by the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYSAHPERD).

Each year, every high school in Suffolk County recognizes the top male and female physical education student based on the following criteria: physical education achievement, scholastic achievement, outstanding character, physical education class leadership, schoolwide and/or community leadership and positive role model.

This fall, Nick will be attending Oklahoma State University, where he will continue his impressive wrestling career. Sabrina aspires to go into the medical field following graduation.
