Ward Melville Students Earn Bronze Medal in International Competition

Ward Melville High School students Alexander Frenkel and Gary Ge were awarded bronze medals at the International Physics Olympiad. 

Every year since 1986, the American Association of Physics Teachers and the American Institute of Physics sponsor a competition for high school students to represent the U.S. at the International Physics Olympiad Competition. The mission of the U.S. physics team program is to promote and demonstrate academic excellence through preparation for and participation in the International Physics Olympiad.
