Woman Bites Target Employee During Theft In South Setauket: SCPD

SOUTH SETAUKET, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding a woman who police say stole from a South Setauket store and bit an employee in November.

A woman entered the Target at 255 Pond Path at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 22 and nabbed various household items, police said. On her way out of the store, she bit an employee, police said. The merchandise is valued around $750, and the woman is wanted for petty larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
