Woman Found Dead Inside Her Suffolk County Apartment
BREAKING: Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
CENTEREACH, NY – A 40-year-old woman was found dead inside her basement apartment in Suffolk County Thursday morning, police said. Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of Rachelle Weeks-Strub.
Police were called to a home in the unit block of Towne Lane in Centereach shortly after 10 a.m. for a wellness check, and officers found Weeks-Strub dead inside her apartment.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death, police said.

Weeks-Strub was married and the mother of a 1-year-old son, according to her Facebook profile.
The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Homicide Squad detectives at 631-852-6392. Police did not release any other information.
