Your Kids’ Photos on the Walls of the Children’s Library for SRC!

Summer Reading Club 2021: “Tails and Tales!” For children from Birth to those entering 6th Grade

Would you like your children to be featured as part of the Summer Reading Club decorations at Emma Clark Library? This year we’re asking that YOU take the photos of your child and send them to us!
Please email 5 photos per child, and we will transform them (no costumes). The deadline for submitting photos is Thursday, April 1st (no photos will be accepted after this date). All photos should be emailed to Ms. Patti at osullivanp@emmaclark.org. Please include the child’s full name and age.

Here are some tips we suggest for taking your photos:

• You may use a smartphone, however if you have a digital camera the print-outs will be clearer.
• When taking photos:
  • Shoot full face including head, shoulders and mid chest. Photos should include front facing, left facing and right facing poses. The brighter the picture, the better.
  • If it’s a sunny day, shoot pictures in the shade to avoid shadow.
  • Take the picture with the sun behind the photographer.
    • Best time of day:
      • Morning: 30 – 40 minutes after the sun has risen.
      • Afternoon: approximately 30 – 40 minutes before sunset.
• Please no group photos. Each child’s picture should be as an individual.
• All images that are used will be displayed for the entire year.
