An Evening With Kevin Maynor
On Sunday, September 20 at 4 PM, internationally acclaimed bass Kevin Maynor will return to his home church for “An Evening with Kevin Maynor: A Son of Shiloh Returns Home.”
Maynor is a Fulbright Award winner, George London Award recipient and Richard Tucker Career Grant winner whose career has taken him to opera houses and concert halls throughout the United States and internationally. His career includes more than 70 operatic roles performed in five languages.
What makes the September 20 performance particularly special is its setting: after a career that has taken him around the world, Kevin is returning to Shiloh Baptist Church and the community that helped shape his beginnings.
He will be accompanied by pianist Eric Olsen, and proceeds from the concert will benefit Shiloh Baptist Church.
