• NYSP: Man arrested, found with black tar heroin and weapons (mytwintiers.com) — A Tioga County man was arrested after state troopers stopped his speeding vehicle in a Union Center school zone and allegedly found black tar heroin, a loaded semiautomatic rifle, and high-capacity magazines. Additional unlicensed firearms were later discovered at his residence, and he was processed at the Endwell barracks before being taken to the Broome County jail.
