UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a busy week for the luxury real estate market in Manhattan, and the four most expensive deals in the city were all on the Upper East Side, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.
The most expensive home on the Upper East Side was a co-op that sold for $16,200,000, the Olshan Report said.
The chart-topping co-op is a 10-room duplex located at 980 Fifth Ave., near East 81st Street. The apartment has 12 windows overlooking Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with a striking spiral staircase in the center of the home.
All of this week's top sales on the Upper East Side were condos or co-op apartments, according to the Olshan report.
Here are the Upper East Side's top five contracts from Dec. 15 to Dec. 21.
