UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a busy week for the luxury real estate market on the Upper East Side, with seven deals closing over the $4 million mark, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.
The most expensive home on the Upper East Side sold this week was a townhouse on East 73rd Street that went for $24,950,000, the Olshan Report said.
The chart-topping townhouse is located at 40 East 73rd St., between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue.
The townhouse features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and three powder rooms spread across 9,000 square feet of interior living space, according to the listing.
Originally built in 1885 by renowned architect Richard Buckley, the home includes a penthouse-style atrium currently used as a media/games room, several terraces and a home gym.
