UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — New parents delivering at Lenox Hill Hospital will now head home with more than just a newborn — they'll also be bringing home the Rolls-Royce of diapers.
As part of a newly unveiled maternity unit renovation, the hospital is rolling out a gifting program in partnership with the luxury baby care brand Coterie, providing postpartum patients with complimentary care packages.
The gift bags — expected to be distributed for at least a year in the birth wing — include a set of premium diapers and wipes designed for sensitive newborn skin, as well as a Coterie-branded tote bag, hospital officials said.
The diapers are hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, and made with "apparel-grade fabric" aimed at reducing irritation, the brand says.
"Because I was born at Lenox Hill, this partnership feels deeply personal to me," Jess Jacobs, CEO of Coterie, said. "I’m grateful we can provide new parents with clinically tested products that extend the level of care they received in the hospital into those critical first days at home and beyond."
The gifting initiative is part of a broader overhaul of the hospital’s fourth-floor maternity unit, which now features all-private postpartum rooms at no added cost, along with upgraded patient areas and redesigned family spaces.
"At Lenox Hill, we are continually striving to elevate the care and experience we provide to our patients and their families,” Elan Levy, chief medical officer at Lenox Hill Hospital, said. "The enhancements to our maternity unit, along with Coterie’s high-quality baby essentials, are part of that patient-centered priority, giving families practical, reliable resources as they begin this exciting new chapter of their lives."
