UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A proposed Lenox Hill mansion made from two townhouses topped the list for most expensive residential real estate deals in Manhattan this week, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.
The chart-topping property, which closed for $24,500,000, is located at 34-36 East 70th St., between Madison and Park avenues.
The property is fully gutted, and the sale of the property comes with construction plans that were previously approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission.
The megamansion will feature more than 12,000 square feet and eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and a powder room. The building will also include a rooftop terrace, several walk-in closets, a swooping staircase, and a study.
Here are the Upper East Side's top contracts from April 27 to May 3.
