UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a busy week for the luxury real estate market in Manhattan, with 29 deals closing over the $4 million mark, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.
The most expensive deal on the list? The Upper East Side childhood home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, which sold for $22,000,000.
The chart-topping duplex is located at 740 Park Ave., on East 71st Street. The apartment features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two powder rooms, as well as three wood-burning fireplaces.
The address itself is iconic. The building's history is chronicled in a book called "740 Park: The Story of the World's Richest Apartment Building" by Michael Gross.
Here are the Upper East Side's top five contracts from May 18 to May 25.
