The new restaurant will open with an emphasis on "clean eating" and chef-crafted meals.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Goop Kitchen, a fast-casual dining concept from West Coast wellness queen Gwyneth Paltrow, is putting down its roots on the Upper East Side this August.

The new Upper East Side eatery will open on Aug. 3 at 346 East 92nd St. at First Avenue, the brand told Patch.

Goop Kitchen, dreamt up by chef Kim Floresca and Paltrow, will serve takeout grain bowls, salads, wraps, and more, with a focus on "clean eating," which, by the brand's definition, means no refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, dairy, seed oils, corn, peanuts, or preservatives.

The eatery is named for Paltrow's wellness lifestyle brand, Goop.

"Our mission is to accelerate the clean-food movement by proving that eating clean can be delicious, satisfying, and accessible," the brand says on its website.

The menu includes hearty mains and sides like the Brentwood Chinese Chicken Salad, the Montecito Turkey Wrap, and the Goopfellas Pizza.

So far, the eatery has 14 locations in California and two others in New York City, including one in Midtown West and one in Williamsburg.

The new restaurant is taking over the space most recently occupied by Butterfield Market's bakery outpost.
