UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It was a busy week for the luxury real estate market on the Upper East Side, with 14 contracts signed worth over $4 million, according to the latest data from the Olshan Report.
The most expensive home in the neighborhood that went into contract this week was a penthouse condo that went into contract while asking $23.75 million, the Olshan Report said.
This is the second time this month that the Upper East Side had the most expensive home contract in the city, according to Olshan.
The six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom apartment is on East 77th Street on the corner of Second Avenue.
Features include an oversized living room with a fireplace as well as two private terraces with views of Central Park.
The brand-new 500-foot-tall condo building is designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and is being developed by Naftali Group.
Inside the building, amenities include a steam room and sauna, a fitness center, a 75-foot swimming pool, a cinema, a playroom, music practice rooms, a recording studio, and a porte-cochere for pick-up and drop-off.
The Naftali Group says just one unit is still available for sale: a duplex penthouse going for $37.5 million.
Here are the Upper East Side's top contracts from Oct. 19 to Oct. 25.
