Barbara Salmanson of the Upper East Side Recognized at UJA-Federation of New York’s Annual New York Lions Lunch
Salmanson recognized for her leadership and service to the community

Barbara Salmanson of the Upper East Side received the Spirit of Peggy Award for her years of dedicated service to helping women and children in need at UJA-Federation of New York’s Annual New York Lions Lunch on November 9, 2016, at The Pierre in New York City.
More than 500 women attended the event, which also recognized Rachel Zuckerbrot of East Hills and Pam Wexler of Scarsdale. Alan M. Dershowitz gave the keynote address.
In New York, a woman who gives a gift of $6,000 or more, individually or as a family, to UJA-Federation’s annual campaign is recognized as a Lion.
