Lincoln Center Chinese Arts Week presents TAIGA

Connect on The Dance Floor for two sets by Chinese electronic duo TAIGA. Hailing from Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, multi-instrumentalists Xi Leilei and Husile meld traditional ethnic sounds, instruments, and techniques—including Khoomei throat singing, the horse-head fiddle, and Tuvan doshpuluur lute—with a range of Western influences and contemporary production techniques to form their own psychedelic nomad soundtrack. For their Lincoln Center debut, TAIGA presents an hour-long amplified concert, followed by an hour-long Silent Disco.
