Eat Organic and Support a Local Family Farm
Organic vegetables, local fruit & mushrooms delivered weekly from Catskills farmer
Membership is now open to become a part of the Carnegie Hill CSA.
24 weeks of deliveries of locally grown, organic vegetables Tuesdays from June - November to the Church of the Heavenly Rest at 5th and 90th Street. Local fruit and mushrooms, as well as organic coffee and beans, are also available. We offer shares in two sizes to fit different households and eating preferences.
Our farmers are Deborah, Pete, Pete Jr., and Candice Kavakos of Stoneledge Farm. Community supported agriculture works by buying into the harvest before the season begins, which enables the farmer to plan for the season, purchase organic seeds, make equipment repairs, hire workers, etc. This then entitles members to a share of the harvest throughout the season, grown and delivered by a farm they know and trust.
