Emily Gindi of the Upper East Side Honored by UJA-Federation
Emily Gindi recognized at New York Lions Lunch for leadership and commitment to philanthropy

Upper East Side resident Emily Gindi received the Martha K. Selig Young Leadership Award for her leadership and dedicated service to the community at UJA-Federation of New York's Annual New York Lions Lunch on November 13, 2018, at The Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
Nearly 500 women attended the event, which also recognized Suzi Oppenheimer of Mamaroneck and Erika S. Witover of Oyster Bay. Deborah Lipstadt, Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at Emory University, gave the keynote address.
In New York, a woman who gives a gift of $6,000 or more, individually or as a family, to UJA-Federation's annual campaign is recognized as a Lion.
