Hunter College Compiles Coronavirus Food Resource Guides
Hunter College is making guides for every neighborhood to help residents get the food or support they need during the pandemic, find yours.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The Hunter College NYC Food Policy Center has posted a series of food resource guides for each neighborhood across New York City.
The guides are divided into the 59 community districts as defined by the city's department of health and offer a variety of resources including:
- How to find meals for seniors and students
- Delivery services for the house-bound or disabled
- Resources for immigrants or non-English speakers

Many of the guides are broken down by zipcode so users will want to have that information handy.
The policy center says the guides are being continually updated with the latest information so visitors should expect some changes over time.

The school says the guides are being built with help from Share Meals, Hunger Free America, BetaNYC, Plentiful and from tips and suggestions from the community. The NYC Food Policy Center is asking everyone to report changes, updates, or any food or support programs they may have missed by emailing them at info@nycfoodpolicy.org.
