Local Care Center Honors the Quality Work of Two Dedicated Women
Devoted Employees Recognized for Always Performing at the Highest Level

The Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently honored two of their dedicated employees with the distinction of Employee of the Month. Yelena Yakusheva and Sonia Catwell were each awarded with the prestigious title after a vote taken by the facility’s residents, visitors and staff members found them the most deserving. These two hard-working women have dedicated themselves to providing high-quality healthcare assistance to Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation residents for more than a decade.
“The Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has a 5-star facility because of the incredible staff and the care they provide our patients,” said facility Administrator Scott Mair. “All of our employees work hard each and every day, but some of them go above and beyond the call of duty and should be recognized for their initiative and dedication.”
Yelena Yakusheva is one of the facility’s recreation therapists and is responsible for creating an inviting and friendly environment for patients as they go through the health and healing process. She accomplishes this goal by coordinating the various fun-filled events and activities planned for the facility’s patients each and every day.
